Salary:                 $25.00/per hour

Qualifications:     US Citizen; Minimum age – 21; Valid Driver license; Good driving record;  Good physical condition; Eligibility for WI Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification; High School Diploma; 60 college credits – Associate degree with prior police experience preferred; Ability to possess a firearm; No felony convictions; No domestic abuse convictions; Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to react quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays; Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment; Be of excellent character;  Applicants should possess strong human relations, problem solving, and communication skills (oral and written).

The Wrightstown Police Department is a rapidly progressing agency that serves a population of 3,308 residents in both Brown and Outagamie County.  Wrightstown is a rapidly growing community, both in residential and business, between Green Bay and Appleton, WI.  Located on the Fox River the community provides many amenities that draw people in from all over.  Wrightstown also provides an ideal location for those working in the Green Bay and Appleton area.

The Wrightstown Police Department currently employs a Full-time Police Chief, 4 Full-time Officers, 1-2 Part-time Officers, 1 Salvage Inspector, and an Administrative Police Clerk.  With the anticipated rapid growth of the community, the Village anticipates hiring more police positions, both Full-time and Part-time in the next few years to create 24 hour police coverage.  This is a great time to be a part of this growing team and part of a growing community.  The Wrightstown Police Department employs modern day policing techniques and equipment to effectively provide for the safety and well-being for the residents of the Village of Wrightstown.
