The State of Wisconsin enacted the Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Law in 1997. This law was created to monitor and track people convicted of sex crimes and to provide access of information for police, victims, and the community. The website below was created to enhance public safety by making the information contained in the Sex Offender Registry easily accessible to the public and to enhance public awareness about sexual violence in our communities.
